Authorities say two Michigan prison fugitives arrested in Colorado set up a methamphetamine lab in the motel in which they were staying.

Mlive.com reports Friday that police discovered a small meth lab in the Canon City, Colo., motel where the 32-year-old Kenneth Grauman and 23-year-old Gregory Bradshaw were arrested Thursday afternoon without incident. They escaped Sept. 29 from the minimum security Lake County Residential Reentry Program in Baldwin.

WOOD-TV reports the men and two women accompanying them had a significant but undisclosed amount of money with them when they were arrested.

The U.S. Marshals Service says the men repeatedly dodged police in Michigan and are suspected in "numerous home invasions and at least one stolen vehicle in Allegan County."

The men are jailed awaiting extradition to Michigan.
