ST. JOSEPH, Mich. The St. Joseph harbor will be dredged this year.

The Army Corp of Engineers has come up with $1.5 million to fund the project.

Congressman Fred Upton made the announcement today.

The harbor wasn't included in President Obama's budget.

Upton and other lawmakers worked to get the government to distribute $30 million out of additional money to the Army Corp for work in the Great Lakes.
