The University of Michigan says it's honoring a campus security guard who helped recover 20 outdoor signs from a student's apartment.
The university says the guard spotted an electric sign in the window of an off-campus apartment. University spokeswoman Diane Brown says the sign was stolen from a dorm cafe in 2005.
The Ann Arbor News says police got a search warrant and found 20 signs and banners from the university, Ann Arbor Transportation Authority and other agencies, including some in Florida.
The 21-year-old student from Florida was charged with two felonies.
The university says it will reveal the guard's name after giving her a professional excellence citation in mid-February.
