Two love-struck teens who ran away from their Flint-area homes have been reunited with their parents in Louisiana.

A nationwide search for 15-year-old Gage Petherbridge and his 13-year-old girlfriend, Hannah McConnell, ended when they were found Monday in Cameron Parish. Their parents picked them up Tuesday night.

The Detroit Free Press reports both were to return Wednesday to Michigan.

Gage's stepfather Duane Wismer tells The Detroit News that the boy missed his family.

The teens ran off Jan. 12 after their parents told them to stop seeing each other. They left their homes in Vienna Township, about 65 miles north-northwest of Detroit, in Gage's family van.

Police say they didn't think charges will be filed.
