Police in Kalamazoo were responding to a burglary alarm when they found a mobile methamphetamine lab.

When officers arrived Sunday, WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo reports they saw a vehicle backed into the parking lot of a business. The car pulled out and the occupants hurled items from the car that turned out to be meth-making materials.

One of the items ignited when it hit the ground.

Two Kalamazoo-area residents were arrested on felony drug charges. Their names weren't immediately released.

Police say their presence in the parking lot set off the alarm, but they hadn't entered the business.

Meth is a highly addictive drug that can be made with common household products.
