Mitt Romney is predicting today that his Michigan primary victory will propel him to the Republican presidential nomination.

He spoke in Waterford before flying out of Oakland County International Airport on his way to campaign in South Carolina.

The Michigan-born ex-Massachusetts Governor got 39 percent of yesterday's vote, to 30 percent for Arizona Senator John McCain.

Romney says his business background will help him fix what he says is a broken national government.
