A truck driver has died after being pinned between his truck and a loading dock at an ice cream plant near Ludington.

Mason County Undersheriff Tom Trenner tells WKLA radio the 50-year-old man from Hart got caught between the ramp and the truck bed while unloading his truck Friday at the House of Flavors warehouse in Riverton Township.

The Ludington Daily News reports employees were standing outside the building afterward. Police caution tape prevented anyone from entering the building.

The sheriff's office says the death is under investigation.
