AAA Michigan reports the average statewide price of regular self-serve is $3.09.
The Marquette area has the highest gas prices in the state at about $3.26 per gallon.
The Saginaw/Bay City and Grand Rapids areas have the cheapest gas at $3.02 a gallon. The Detroit area average is $3.09.
The statewide average for biodiesel is $3.52 and $2.74 for ethanol.
The auto club surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.
