A piece of Pinckney-area educational history is up for sale.
The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus of Howell reports Thursday that a 924-square-foot, one-room schoolhouse has been
listed for $25,000 by Realtor Rick Beaudin.
The Hicks School is being sold by Pinckney Community Schools, and hasn't been used for the last five years.
School officials say they last used it for students in 1972.
The school was built around 1850. It's located about 45 miles west of Detroit.
