Plans to bring a new microbrewery to South Bend are under review.
The proposed microbrewery and restaurant would be located at the former Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Hall at 1047 Lincolnway East in South Bend.
Because the project requires a change in zoning for the property, the St. Joseph County Board of Zoning Appeals has to review the plans before the microbrewery moves in.
On March 6, the board will consider the rezoning proposal and issue its decision.
The VFW IN Post 1167 vacated the building in May 2012 after merging with IN Post 360 Mishawaka.
