Wright sentenced for 55 years for murder
A South Bend man convicted of murder was sentenced to 55 years behind bars.
Andrew Wright Jr., 35, was found guilty for murdering Michael Mumford in March of this year. Police found Mumford’s body in the 1100 block of East Bowman after receiving a tip from Crimestoppers.
An autopsy conducted after officials discovered Mumford's body revealed that he died of blunt force trauma.
Wright now faces five years of suspended probation after his prison term.
