Workplace injuries are at historic lows in Indiana.
Non-fatal injuries have been on a steady decline for more than a decade, from 9.5 percent in 1996 to 4.3 percent in 2011.
The numbers come from the Annual Survey of Occupational Injuries. It considers four of Indiana's major industries - manufacturing, state and local government, retail trade and health care.
The only increase in injuries was in the health care industry.
This is the third year the state has had a 4.3 percent injury rate.
