A meth-filled cup of coffee did not fool Indiana State Police during a traffic stop Monday.

A trooper stopped a Plymouth woman driving along US 30, near Tulip Rd. Monday morning for a traffic infraction.

That officer recognized Teresa Tapia, 51, from previous drug incidents, and called for a K-9 unit.

Officers asked Tapia to get out of the car, but she refused to leave her coffee cup behind. She then got into a fight with officers as she continued drinking it.

Officers found a coffee filter full of meth inside the cup.

Tapia was arrested for drug possession and resisting arrest, and taken to the Marshall County Jail.
