Woman dead after St. Clair County fire
Authorities say a woman is dead following a house fire in St. Clair County.
Sheriff Tim Donnellon says deputies and firefighters arrived at the scene about 1:15 a.m. Monday and found the home engulfed in flames. It's in Grant Township, about 60 miles northeast of Detroit.
Donnellon didn't release the victim's name, but the Times Herald of Port Huron identifies her as Constance Falk, a longtime employee of the Port Huron Area School District.
The sheriff says an arson investigator and medical examiners are involved in the case.
