LEBANON, Ind. The ex-girlfriend of a man serving a 225-year sentence in a triple murder testified during another man's trial in those killings that her ex-boyfriend woke her up the night of the slayings in an agitated state.

Mala Singh-Mattingly told jurors Tuesday in David Camm's murder trial that her ex-boyfriend, Charles Boney, left with his backpack one evening in September 2000 to "meet a buddy." She says he was agitated and "breathing really hard" when he returned.

The Courier-Journal reports she testified Boney showed her a gun and wanted her to watch television news coverage the next morning of "some type of murder."

That murder turned out to be the killings of Camm's wife and two children. They were shot inside the garage of their Georgetown, Ind., home.
