Warsaw police looking for credit card fraud suspect

Warsaw, Ind. Warsaw police are asking for the public's help in catching a man wanted for theft and fraud.

Christopher Clapp, 30, is accused of stealing three credits cards from a woman who had rented him a hotel room.

He had already spent more than $500 dollars before the cards were cancelled.

The victim contacted police last Friday.

But Clapp had already gotten away, and hasn't been seen since.
According to Stacey Page Online, Clapp often poses as a homeless man, or, like in this most recent case, rents rooms from his victims then steals their possessions.

Two felony fraud warrants have been issued for his arrest.

Clapp is also wanted on two felony warrants in Ohio for theft and aggravated assault, as well as in Montana for felony theft.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call police.
