A western Indiana man under police investigation and his son have been found dead with gunshot wounds in their rural western Indiana home.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Joe Watts says 40-year-old Kevin Boatright died from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound and his 14-year-old son, Jeremy, also had been shot. Autopsies are planned Thursday.

Watts says the bodies were found Wednesday afternoon by a relative one day after state police detectives spoke to Kevin Boatright at the home about an allegation he had contributed to the delinquency of two girls.

Reelsville is about 45 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
