Tyson staging show in city where convicted of rape

Former boxer Mike Tyson's one-man stage show will play in the city where he was convicted of rape.

The Indianapolis Star reported Wednesday that he'll perform "Mike Tyson; Undisputed Truth" Feb. 12-13 at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre.

A Marion County jury convicted Tyson of one count of rape and two counts of criminal deviate conduct for a 1991 assault of a Miss Black America contestant. Tyson was imprisoned three years at the Indiana Youth Center in Plainfield, about 15 miles west of Indianapolis.

In the show directed by Spike Lee, the former heavyweight champion reflects on his troubled youth, rise to stardom and fall from grace.
