Trial date set for man accused of killing his brother

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A trial date has been set for a man accused of killing his brother.

William Anderson, 54, allegedly shot and killed his 48-year-old brother, Wayne.

It happened shortly before midnight on Dec. 18, in the 300 block of Chestnut St. in South Bend. Police say it all started with a fight at the home.

Anderson's bond has been set at $100,000.

Thursday in court, his trial date was set for April 28, with a record date of April 3. He faces one count of voluntary manslaughter, class a felony.
