Pulaski County officials have just 90 days to respond to a notice of a tort claim, filed on behalf of a former highway superintendent.
WKVI says the claim is filed against the county commissioners, auditor, and the county attorney.
It claims $500,000 dollars in damages against Ken Becker, who says he was suspended without pay, then demoted, and finally fired - all, he says, without explanation.
The claim says Becker has been slandered without any evidence to support their accusations.
