That’s according to our reporting partners at WKVI Radio .

Zachery Conkel, 19, failed to stop at the intersection and struck the side of a semi tractor trailer. The accident caused the Francesville teen to be thrown from his vehicle.

The semi was driven by Gilberto Alvarez, 42, from Lansing, Illinois.

It’s unclear if Alvarez was injured during the crash.
