The South Bend Public Transportation Corporation (TRANSPO) announced that fixed route service will resume when the snow emergency and travel restrictions are lifted at noon. ACCESS paratransit service will operate a regular schedule on Tuesday, January 7 to allow passengers to reach medical and other critical appointments. Any passengers with changes or cancellations to their existing ACCESS reservations are asked to contact the ACCESS reservation line at 574-234-1188.

While TRANSPO provides over 5,000 passenger trips daily, we recommend avoiding any unnecessary trips and planning accordingly for the extreme cold temperatures. Please be aware there may be delays once service begins. TRANSPO will continue to monitor the situation to ensure the safety of the drivers and passengers. Motorists are encouraged to increase their following distance around buses and watch for passengers waiting where areas remain snow covered.
