Summer Feeding Programs back in Michiana

More Video...

For over 30 years, the Summer Feeding Program has been providing breakfast and lunch to children in need during the summer months.

Most area districts participate in the nationally funded program, often providing both breakfast and lunch to children under 18 for free at area parks and other locations.

In South Bend, the program kicks off on Wednesday June 12th with 40 participating locations. Breakfast and lunches follow state health guidelines, including whole grains, fruit, vegetables and milk. Click here for a list.

Elkhart, Mishawaka and Penn-Harris-Madison School Districs all started their programs this week.
