ELKHART, Ind.--- The trial continued today in Elkhart for a man accused of killing his business partner.

Todd Stewart, 36, is facing charges of murder and 65 years in prison after allegedly killing his business partner, Mark Miller, and then stuffing him in a barrel and putting it into the St. Joseph River in 2012.

Today in court, Miller's sister was on the stand talking about how he was supposed to meet her for lunch and never showed.

After not hearing from him that day, she was worried and got a group of friends together to search for him.

A few days after the search started Miller's sister talked with Stewart who showed her a document saying that in the case of Miller going missing, or dying, Stewart would get the business.

When Miller's attorney saw the note he said he had never seen the letter and that the document was not notarized or what a professional counselor would prepare.
