St. Joseph County's curbside recycling program is on a roll.
The director says participation was high again in 2013.
Residents put out more than 13 tons of glass, plastic and paper waste to be collected and reused.
More than 120 tons of electronics were diverted from landfills, along with 54,000 pounds of tires, and 9,300 pounds of light bulbs.
The county's solid waste management director says he is proud of the progress, but also says there is room for improvement.
