Family members of a missing Indiana University student are waiting to find out the identity of a skull found in the White River.

Indystar.com reports that it was found by a fisherman on July 8 near the east bank of the river. No other remains were found. It could take about six weeks to identify the skull.

Lauren Spierer went missing in the early hours of the morning after going out with friends. So far, little clues have surfaced on what happened to her.
