South Bend’s “nosiest” resident addressed disabilities awareness luncheon.
Steve Reedle, a 1985 graduate of Clay High School, has left his mark on noses by inventing a device specially designed to stop nosebleeds.
The “Nosebudd” is a device that is stored in the freezer until needed, and when used will stop nosebleeds. Reedle himself has long suffered from nosebleeds. He was born with the blood-clotting disorder, Hemophilia, making stopping nosebleeds a difficult task.
Today Reedle addressed the 24th Annual Disabilities Awareness Luncheon in South Bend. He says he has never gotten complaints about his invention, instead he says, “I get e-mails from nurses and they never say we like Nosebudd, they always say we love Nosebudd.”
Tens of thousands of Reedle’s invention have been sold across the world.
