A new store in Granger offers a unique holiday shopping experience for Michiana.
Five friends, who tried the "popup" program in 2012, decided to move their talents to a new location. Now, the owners are testing their luck in Granger, November through January.
"Even though we did really well in Downtown South Bend, we thought Granger needed something like us," said Lisa Bails, one of the partners at Mistletoe Market.
45 artists are showcasing their work under one roof. Owners say there is something for everyone, from handmade soaps, decorations and jewelry to crocheted hats and scarves.
"There really isn't a place to do that other than going to a craft show," said Bails. "We're kind of like a craft show, but a pop up craft show."
Mistletoe Market is on State Road 23 in Granger right next to the Granger Farmer's Market. The store is open Tuesday-Friday from 10a.m.-7p.m. Saturday from 8a.m.-4p.m. and Sunday from noon-4p.m.
