Sketch of suspect in Goshen shooting released

Police released a sketch of the man they believe was involved in a Goshen shooting last week.

Around 6 p.m. last Friday Oct, 12, Michael Edwards, 41, was found lying in his yard on the 1300 block of W. Clinton Street, with multiple gunshot wounds. Edwards was taken to a South Bend trauma center for emergency care.

With Edwards' assistance and a composite artist police were able to gather a sketch of the suspect. He is described as a dark-complexioned, black male between the ages of 15 and 22, approximately 5'10 with a slender build.

Police ask that any information regarding the suspect, or about the shooting, be referred to the Goshen Police Department or Michiana Crime Stoppers at: 1-800-342-STOP.
