Two men are under arrest after a shoplifting incident turned into a police chase Tuesday afternoon.

The Elkhart Truth reports that the men robbed a Sears store in the 100 block of Hively Avenue just after 1p.m.

Officers located their car and attempted to pull them over, but they refused to stop. Eventually the pair stopped on Dogwood Drive.

39-year-old Douglas McBride and 30-year-old Tyler Lewis face preliminary charges of theft. Mcbride is also charged with driving while suspended.
