A sheriff says he doesn't know of any life-threatening injuries from the crash of a school bus loaded with children the overturned in a central Indiana farm field.
Clinton County Sheriff Jeff Ward tells the Journal & Courier that four students were taken by ambulance to a hospital in Frankfort after the Friday morning crash. He says the rest of the students and the bus driver were taken on another bus to be checked out.
The Clinton Prairie school district bus went off a rural road near the town of Colfax while heading to school about 8 a.m. Authorities say the bus was carrying elementary, middle and high school students.
The crash happened along a straight road that was wet from morning rain, but a cause wasn't immediately released.
