Sentencing delayed for Cash Out Boyz gang member

South Bend, Ind. It will be another month before we learn the fate of a known South Bend gang member, in trouble for his role in a racketeering enterprise.

Brison Williams, 20, was supposed to be sentenced today.

But the hearing was rescheduled to September 13 after the judge granted his request for new counsel.

Williams is among seven members of the South Bend-based “Cash Out Boyz” gang, who were charged back in December with numerous violations of the federal RICO act.

They're accused of dealing drugs, along with a long list of violent acts, including a murder and several attempted murders.

Among Williams' accomplices is Demerius Shaw, 20, who has already been sentenced to 50 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

Jaleen McGee, 20, will spend more than seven years behind bars and four years of supervised release.

Jarvis Ward, 19, Rickey Hemphill, 20, and Alvin Blade the third and Timothy Whitfield, both 21, have pleaded guilty in the case but have yet to learn their punishments.
