South Bend, Ind. Tuesday marked the end of the first school year for Saint Joseph High School students in their new home.
This year, students saw a surge in technology, including laptops and projectors in the classroom, as well as 90 minute class periods.
But even with the transition into the new building, it has been a successful year for students and staff.
“We were all freshman this year to the school, so for everything that happened there it was difficult to pass class,” said student Cole Mead.
“As the year went on, I think this has become more like home,” explained social studies teacher Henry Chandler.
The students and staff of Saint Joseph's High School say they are looking forward to the next school year, and leaving their mark on their new school.
