ELKHART, Ind.--- A 20-year-old man has learned his fate for an Elkhart murder.
Leeshawn Rodgers was sentenced today to sixty years in prison.
Rodgers shot 34-year-old Eddie Johnson in April of last year near Cleveland and Sixth St.
According to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth, in court this week, Rodgers' attorney discussed his client's background and said he had been moved around from house to house after getting kicked out at age ten.
The judge said his sentence stemmed from the severity of the crime and Rodgers' attitude.
