GOSHEN Renovation plans at Goshen schools are moving forward, with a big decision made this week.

The Elkhart Truth reports that the board will pay two design-build teams that aren't chosen for the project. The move is meant to inspire great teams to submit proposals.

The two teams that make it to the final round but aren't chosen will each receive $36,000. That's about half of what it would cost the companies to come up with renovation plans.

Meanwhile, a community task force has been assigned to decide where the new pool will be built -- whether it should go in the middle school, or the high school. 10 to 20 people will be chosen to serve on that task force within the next two weeks.
