Pulaski County Fair will take place on fairgrounds despite flooding

Pulaski Co., Ind. Pulaski County Fairground officials say --despite flooding-- they'll be ready for the 4H and Community Fair.

Organizers were worried they'd have to find another venue, after the Tippecanoe River overflowed its banks and flooded part of the Winamac Town Park

They say things are still wet, but they're making significant progress with the cleanup.

According to reporting partners at WKVI, all the water has been cleared from buildings in time for pre-fair judging, which will start this Saturday.

The fair begins the following Saturday and lasts until July 5.
