After months of turmoil, Pulaski County has named a new highway superintendent.
According to WKVI, Mark Fox, a nine-year veteran of the Pulaski County Highway Dept. will take over as superintendent. In a meeting on Monday night, commissioners unanimously voted for Fox out of four other applicants to fill the position.
Former highway superintendent, Kenny Becker, was fired by the commissioners last month after a controversial paid suspension back in January and subsequent reinstatement under the supervision interim highway superintendent Larry Brady.
The commissioners also voted to change the workdays for county highway employees to run from 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
