UPDATE: Search for possible drowning victim suspended due to weather

Kosciusko Co., Ind. The Kosciusko County Dive Team and Indiana Conservation officers have suspended their search for an elderly Kosciusko man last seen swimming in Little Chapman Lake.

According to DNR, severe weather prompted the search and recovery effort termination.

Little Chapman Lake is just northeast of downtown Warsaw.

DNR and Kosciusko County Dive Team divers have been searching since about 4 p.m..

Witnesses say the man was swimming from a pontoon boat when he went underwater and did not resurface.

The search is focused on the center of the lake near a marshy area.
