Police name suspect in Elkhart murder

Police have named a suspect in the fatal shooting on an Eklhart man last month.

That's according to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.

The Elkhart Police Department is looking for Leeshawn Nathaniel Rodgers, 19, of Elkhart. He's wanted for the April 30th murder of Eddie Johnson.

Police describe Rodgers as armed and dangerous.

Johnson was shot and killed near the corner of Cleveland and Sixth St on the Elkhart's south side. Johnson was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Elkhart County Coroner said Johson died as a of multiple gunshot wounds.
