Police looking for Granger moped crash details

Granger, Ind. St. Joseph County Police are hoping some observant motorists can help them piece together their investigation into a moped crash along a busy roadway.

Just before 4 p.m. on Thursday, officers were called to the 15800 block of SR23 in Granger, east of the Heritage Square entrance.

They found both the moped and its driver lying in a field off the south side of the highway, where it appears the victim had been for some time.

The man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

His name has not been released, pending notification of his family.
