Police busy with several robberies

Michiana police kept busy with a number of robberies over the past few days, and they’re asking for help making arrests.

One of the robberies happened at a Pak a Sak convenience store in the 1100 block of Johnson Street in Elkhart. A black male got away with some cash, Monday morning just after 7:30. Anyone with information on that case should contact Elkhart Police at 574-295-7076.

Police are also looking into two personal burglaries. Two men stole jewelry from a home in the 20000 block of 9B Road in Marshall County. A woman actually walked in on them during the act, but they fled into a wooded area. Information on that case can be shared with Marshall County Police by calling 574-936-3187.

Around 1:30 early Saturday morning, someone stole two hay bales from a victim in Marshall County. It happened at the intersection of Olive and State Road 110. That case is also being investigated by Marshall County Police.

Finally, the Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week: Several tools were stolen from a garage in the 200 block of Windsor Avenue in Berrien County. That happened around 4a.m. back on April 21st. Crime stoppers will pay a thousand dollar reward to anyone with information on that case. Just call 1-800-342-STOP.

The thefts are not related.
