Elkhart, Ind. Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with last week's deadly double shooting at an Elkhart grocery store.

Richard Gross, 22, of Elkhart was taken into custody around 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 26000 block of Leland Road in the Simonton Lake area. He is facing preliminary charges of felony murder.

His alleged accomplice, Kevin Moore, 28, has already been formally charged with two counts of murder.

The incident occurred Sept. 5 at Saleh's Market in the 400 block of Middlebury Street. Jagtar Bhatti, 55, and Pawan Singh, 20, were shot and killed inside the store, where they both worked.

Police have not released a possible motive, but said all along that they believed two people were involved in the crime.

Moore, who is said to be a regular customer at the store, was arrested not long after the crime. He appeared in court Thursday for his initial hearing, during which he entered a not guilty plea.

Moore's trial is set for next February.
