Pfeil Pfountain opens in South Bend

South Bend, Ind For those of you keeping score the city of South Bend now has seven splash pads.

The newest was unveiled today at Potawatomi Park.

Soon after the mayor turned on the Fawcett, a bunch of kids showed up to take a test dive.

The newest splash pad is different than all the rest, in that most of the 125-thousand dollar price tag was covered by private donations.

The splash pad was designed to be handicapped accessible.

It's officially named the Pfeil Pfountain.
