Penn High School senior wins Congressional Art Competition

The future Monets and Picassos of Michiana are getting some recognition in Washington D.C.

Today Congresswoman Jackie Walorski announced the three winners of this year's Congressional Art Competition from Indiana's second district high schools.

Penn High School senior Jewelianna Boen earned first place and will have her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol next year.

She'll also receive a pair of airline tickets, compliments of Southwest Airlines, to fly to D.C. in June for a reception recognizing contest winners from across the country.
