Pence, family prep for move into governor's home

Gov. Mike Pence and his family have packed their bags for a weekend move into the governor's official residence.

The Times of Munster reports the former congressman, his wife Karen and their three children will move Saturday into the home located about five miles north of downtown Indianapolis.

Pence says he's "very excited" about moving into the governor's residence, which was not regularly used by former Gov. Mitch Daniels. The former governor owned his own house north of Indianapolis.

Pence's family has been renting a home in the Indianapolis suburb of McCordsville since selling their Arlington, Va., house over the summer. The Pences also own a home in Columbus.
