Indiana residents can cash in on a great deal this winter, getting up to $5,000 for replacing old wood-burning boilers, stoves and fireplaces.

Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) has partnered with the American Lung Association and the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) to help Hoosiers clean up the air by retrofitting appliances that have high emissions.

Various programs are available depending on the type of appliance or family income.
