GOSHEN, Ind. - The first of five men, scheduled to go on trial for a violent home invasion in Elkhart County, pleaded guilty on Monday.
Antoine McDuffie, 21, could get up to 80 years in prison for his role in the incident last November at the Twin Pines Mobile Home Park.
He faces armed robbery, burglary and criminal confinement charges.
Armando Gonzalez, 18, Montrail Williams, 20, Davon Crenshaw, 19 and Matthew Allen, 19, were also scheduled for trial Monday.
The judge postponed Monday’s trials because of the possibility of bad weather.
Victims told police a handgun was displayed when the five men entered their mobile home, but no one was hurt.
