Property tax payments are due Tuesday for St. Joseph County.
Tax payers can pay bills at the County Treasurer's Office until 4:30p.m. or put a check in the mail. The envelope must be postmarked by Tuesday to avoid late penalties.
The County Assessor's Office is also available after-hours for those who wish to appeal their property assessments. The appeals deadline is December 26th.
Assessors will be at the Centre Township Library in South Bend from 5p.m. – 7p.m. Tuesday.
