A Notre Dame professor will be vacationing to Rome in a few week for a big honor.
Reverend Brian Daley, a Theology professor, will receive the 2012 Ratzinger Prize in Theology from Pope Benedict XVI.
A second award will be given to French philosopher Rremi Brague.
The award is to recognize scholarship in scripture and fundamental theology.
