Thursday is World Down Syndrome day.

It’s observed annually on March 21st to symbolize the cause of Down Syndrome – a third copy of the 21st chromosome.

Notre Dame and Holy Cross are commemorating this day of acceptance and inclusion with a special mass, held at 5:15p.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame.
